Developer Competition – Winners and Winnings
A look at ten perspectives
Step right up and take a look! We’re pleased to see you’re interested and are happy to give you a quick look behind the scenes of the Developer Competition. Before the winners of the first round retired to convert their concepts into prototypes, they offered us a few insights into their visions and projects. We’ll take you inside their creative thinking caps and you can create your own idea of what the future of television has in store.
A victor’s smile isn’t enough for us – we want to see you smiling too. So take part in the Viewer Competition, rate the entries with up to five points and maybe win one of three T-Home Entertain packages.

"There can only be one" – The Next Step
The ten winners receive 50,000 euros in prize money and the chance to make their concept reality in the next round together with Deutsche Telekom. In the coming weeks they will develop their prototypes of the television of the future and present them to the jury. The jury will select three finalists, each of whom will receive 100,000 euros in prize money. Then come the Finals: the last three develop their applications on Deutsche Telekom's IPTV platform, then present their work one last time to the jury. The winner will receive 200,000 euros, and the future of television will become reality in a flash.
